I turn requirements into running software, then keep it running
I'm Yonatan Endale Engida, a software engineer based in Addis Ababa. I studied software engineering at HiLCoE, graduating in 2025 with a 3.83 CGPA, and I've been shipping client work since 2024.
Most of my projects start with someone describing a job that is slow, manual or impossible today: a shopkeeper's credit notebook, a monthly newsletter that eats an intern's week, a pharmacy that can't take orders online. I design the system, build the backend and the apps, set up deployment, and stay close to the people who will use it.
Today I'm Country Manager at Soprosys, where I lead delivery for clients in Ethiopia and Djibouti and still write a lot of the code, from NestJS services and Expo apps to Odoo modules.
